I am a Civil Engineering student at Paragon International University on a full national scholarship, and a Project Coordinator at Singbuild Construction Co., Ltd. I handle the work that keeps sites moving, managing schedules, progress reports, quantity takeoffs, and BOQs. I also oversee submittals and handover packages for hotel, retail, F&B, office, and residential fit-outs in Phnom Penh.

Work and Study.

Site work at a design and build contractor, alongside full-time civil engineering study.

Work

Singbuild Construction Co., Ltd.

Project Coordinator · Jul 2025 to present · Phnom Penh

Progress reporting with S-curves, daily labour returns and weekly site reports issued to client consultants.
Process purchase orders and payment documents, working with procurement, finance, and suppliers.
Quantity takeoff, BOQ documentation, material approvals and procurement tracking for the UVP2 packages and retail fit-out.
RFI and RFA registers, method statements, transmittals, authority permits, defect lists and handover packages through to defect liability close-out.

Study

Paragon International University

B.Sc. Civil Engineering · Third year · Full national scholarship

Structural analysis fundamentals: load paths, reinforced concrete behaviour, steel and section design.
Civil engineering laboratory experiments: concrete testing, materials testing, and practical quality control measurements.
Coursework applied on site: reading construction drawings, measuring works for quantity takeoff (QTO), and checking built work against specifications.
Full tuition scholarship held across the whole degree.

A React and Firebase web app that lets staff allocate their own site ride codes.

SB Grab Code Tracker

Ride-code allocation · React & Firebase

Staff used to send every ride-code request through one person. I built a live board where they can see free codes and claim one themselves.

The friction

Every request waited on one person, who also had to track which codes were free.

Manpower Reporting Automation

Supervisors post the daily headcount in a Telegram group. The bot reads each trade, writes it into a shared Google Sheet, and keeps the manpower records up to date.

The friction

Collecting scattered chat messages for the monthly labour report took about 45 minutes at the end of every site day.

The impact

Headcount per trade is saved the same day, so the monthly labour report is ready right away.
